9th Grade Trip to Romeo and Juliet at Arden Theater

The Ed Fund recently supported our New Hope-Solebury 9th grade trip to see Romeo and Juliet at the Arden Theater in Philadelphia. For many students, the trip was their first time seeing a professional play outside of school.

The production received raved reviews from our students who gave glowing feedback on the costumes, the acting--which one student called "phenomenal"-- and the storytelling. Students also loved the "raw and dark" nature of this interpretation of the classic Shakespeare tale, which broadened its focused beyond the doomed romance of the main characters.

Our students appreciated seeing Shakespeare in a live theater performance highly recommended the trip for next year's freshman class.
